I was actually not very happy that the last Harry Potter book came out. I mean, yeah, I wanted to find out what happened, obviously, but I started reading Harry Potter when I was just a kid. When I was so young that buying a Harry Potter book meant I had spent all my allowance for that week. When my dad had never seen me so absorbed in a book, so he bought me the second one because I couldn't afford to buy it for myself. When I was still in grade school, when I went to school with boys but was too shy. When life was simpler. And I kept reading them into high school, which was so different but so similar to Hogwarts. So Senior Final Exams are over, and the only real thing left before graduation is the Senior retreat... Its very odd. I say I am apathetic, but I don't think I have quite comprehended it. I love where I am going, but where I have been has made me who I am. I think it's going to be one of those things I won't miss until I come back, and realize hey... I just live here anymore. It's not my school anymore. Don't even get me started on leaving friends. Basically, I don't want to grow up. I'm such a kid still. Always will be.
